The agreement between you and Medtrainers for the use of Red Ember.
Red Ember is a private web application for organizing a household: schedules, tasks, meals, routines, documents and personal finances. By creating an account or using Red Ember you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at andy@medtrainers.ai if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
An account belongs to a household. Anyone you invite into your household can see and change that household's records. Invite accordingly.
You keep all ownership of the information you put into Red Ember. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process and display it back to you and to the others in your household — nothing more. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train AI models.
Red Ember can read from third-party services such as Google Calendar and Gmail when you connect them. Those connections are read-only and optional, and you may revoke them at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for a third-party service being unavailable, changing its interface, or returning incorrect data. What Red Ember does with data received from Google is described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not use Red Ember to break the law, to store material you have no right to store, to attempt to reach another household's data, to probe or overload the service, or to resell access to it. We may suspend an account that does.
Red Ember includes budgeting, expense categorisation and tax-category tools. These are organizational aids, not financial, tax, legal or medical advice. Figures may be incomplete or wrong — imported transactions can be miscategorised, third-party feeds can lag or misreport, and estimates are estimates. Verify anything that matters with a qualified professional and with your own source records before relying on it, particularly for a tax filing.
Red Ember is provided as-is, with no guaranteed uptime. Features may change or be withdrawn. We may perform maintenance without notice. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; do not treat Red Ember as your only copy of an important document.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Ember is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medtrainers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or costs of substitute services. Our total liability arising out of or relating to Red Ember will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You may stop using Red Ember and request deletion of your household's data at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or discontinue the service, giving reasonable notice where practical so you can export your data.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will give notice by email before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Red Ember after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
