Red Ember · Colorado Less time fighting the system.
More time for the one you love.

Colorado families navigating disability services take on unpaid roles: case manager, records clerk & appeals specialist. Paperwork doesn't stop because you're exhausted.

Red Ember identifies what you're entitled to, catches what's about to slip through the cracks, prepares documentation, and keeps complicated processes moving.

Waiver renewal documentation

Hours of documentation, done in minutes

The paperwork of caregiving shouldn't be a second full-time job.

Red Ember eliminates hours of work for you:

  • Renewal paperwork, straight from your Direct Care Services Calculator
  • Exception requests, for when the hours you need go over the cap
  • Appeals, and the written statement for the hearing

And before you sign anything, it flags what's worth a second look:

  • What came back on the service plan versus what you actually sent in
  • Authorized hours that are about to expire unused
  • IEP and 504 plan review and recommendations

Example of renewal documentation:

  1. You upload the calculator your case manager already sent you.
  2. It reads every task on it — the hours, the frequency, the category.
  3. It matches each one to an active diagnosis on the record and writes why the help is needed.
  4. You download it for signature — one document per provider.
One spreadsheet in.
One signature-ready form out.

Answers, not search results

It knows Colorado & checks weekly for updates

AI will cheerfully make up a Medicaid rule that sounds right. That is not good enough when services are on the line. Disability Guide only answers from Colorado's actual policy library, and shows you exactly where the answer came from, so you are never blindly trusting the app.

Ask Ember is your personal assistant: using the info you’ve added to Red Ember, it can answer questions like “What can I make for dinner that’s safe for our food allergies?” or “Which item on my to-do list should I prioritize today?”

Ask Ember

Knows your week, your people and your records. Answers in the time you actually have.

Your child's record is never shared with anyone: not another household, not the state, not a school or an insurer. One switch in Settings decides whether the guide may draw on what is already on file: diagnoses, dates, who is on the care team, so it answers about your situation instead of in general. It only ever draws from structured fields; your notes and contact details stay off-limits, always. With the switch off it still answers; it just answers like the free public tool.

Beyond the paperwork

An organizer for the whole household

A disability doesn’t replace the dentist, the groceries, or somebody’s birthday. It just gets added on top of them, and something has to give — usually your evening.

Less time asking “What are we forgetting?” More time knowing “We’ve got it handled.”

How it lightens the load

Turning your mess into order

A brain dump becomes actionable tasks

Say it once.

Hold the button and ramble: the exception request you have to file, the therapy notes that are two days overdue, whatever’s on your mind. Red Ember sorts it into tasks, shopping and things you’re waiting on, and shows you the whole list before it saves anything.

Email becomes a checklist

The email that gets buried.

You know the one: three days old, still unread, still there tonight. Red Ember pulls the open to-dos out of your inbox into an actual checklist, including the things you’re waiting on someone else for.

Calendar and mail access are both optional, and both read-only.

Needs attention: therapy notes to the CCB two days overdue, a service plan
signature page due today, waiting on the pediatrician's skilled-care letter,
a dentist booking and CES renewal paperwork.

From Red Ember families

Hear from caregivers

Red Ember helped me get my son an IEP. I didn’t think he qualified, but Red Ember helped me understand his rights and gave me the exact language to send the school.

I could cry. My son’s waiver benefits were reduced by 80%. Not only did Red Ember point out policy violations, it helped me file an appeal and recover over $8,000 in lost funds.
KaitlynCaregiver & mom of two
Red Ember let me upload the new Colorado calculator, and in less than 5 minutes I had provider-ready forms for signature. Within days the care plan was approved! Seriously saved me over 40 hours.
